All our chickens are slow-growing breeds with natural growth.

All chickens from Danish Family Farms are of the breeds Rustic Gold (farm chicken) and Ranger Gold (free-range and organic). They are all slow-growing breeds, which means that the chickens grow at a natural pace. The long process is both more labor- and time-intensive. On the other hand, it makes our chickens stronger and healthier, with a firmer meat structure and much more flavor.
